Leadership Delivering Results for Our Children
High quality and responsive education, and the educational policy that promotes these goals, has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my career, I have worked for legislative bodies, executive agencies, and nonprofit associations where I have been privileged to have been on the ground floor in the development of new and innovative programs and policies at the local, state and national level that have advanced educational opportunities for all students. Educational opportunities and economic empowerment are two sides of the same coin; you can’t have one without the other.
Locally, I have volunteered in a number of capacities within the FCUSD community, including as President of the Folsom Cordova PTA Council, a member of the FCUSD Measure G Bond Oversight Committee, the Sandra J. Gallardo Elementary PTA Board, a founding member of the Folsom Cordova Education Foundation, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce where I founded the Chamber’s Business & Education Alliance Committee to bring the business and education communities together.
My wife Karen and I are the parents of three college-age children (Jackson, Connor, and Logan) who attended Sandra J. Gallardo Elementary, Sutter Middle School, and are recent graduates of Folsom High School.
